National Learn to Row Day 2016

Alexandria Community Rowing, West Potomac, and Alexandria Crew Boosters will be hosting a National Learn to Row Day event on Saturday, June 4. Stop by the boathouse anytime between 9 a.m. and noon to tour the boathouse, learn the basics of the rowing stroke on the erg, and head out on the water.

When: Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m. – noon
Where: Alexandria Boathouse, 1 Madison Street, Alexandria, VA 22314
Who: Anyone ages 14+/rising 8th graders (participants under 18 years old must have a US Rowing waiver signed by a parent)

Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.

All participants must sign a USRowing Waiver, available at check-in. A parent’s signature is required for participants under 18 years of age.

The event will take place rain or shine!

No need to register – just show up!
